PARALUX® PX1 SHORTY
product description
Industry, trade, police, firefighters and co.: With the PARALUX® PX1 SHORTY safety lamp, users from the most different trades always have a powerful, ultra-compact companion at hand. The lamp is just 110 mm long and 41 mm wide; in combination with its low weight of 114g, this all-rounder is perfectly suited for its use in cramped working environments and ensures comfortable fit for the wearer on the helmet. The power pack comes with a beam that carries up to 120 meters and features 5W Cree LED lamps (80 lumens) designed to deliver uninterrupted light for more than eight hours; in the low-power mode, the two AA batteries last for full 15 hours. A battery condition indicator has served well in practice and indicates the battery power in different colors (green=OK / red=only 25% remaining battery power). In addition, three short flashes display a warning signal every 30 seconds after 8.5 h burn time and indicate that the battery power is about to run out. Thanks to its orange-peel reflector surface, the PARALUX® PX1SHORTY produces an even light beam – and reduced glare significantly e.g. in smoke-filled rooms. The IP68 certified quality product also wows users in terms of ergonomics and durability and contains plenty of nice features such as an ergonomic rear switch, which can be quickly and easily operated even when wearing gloves, easy attachment to the PARASNAP® helmet mounting system and a robust polycarbonate housing.
